Adventures of a Book Junkie

2.5 stars. And there are spoilers below. First off: this is not a stand alone. It has a horrible [cliffhanger] ending and the last page says the next story comes out in march. If I would have known that, I would have waited. Secondly, it took me a while to get into this story. I usually read Abbi's books as a guilty pleasure and I usually enjoy them. This one seemed to lag a bit. I went back and forth with liking Blaire. I liked the sections when she was strong and independent. Wasn't a huge fan of the internal fawning over Rush. Especially when it happened right after the first time she saw him. I'm not sure what to say about Rush. He's a total whore/asshole and not in a good way. He lies to Blaire during the entire story and when the big reveal happens, he begs her to stay, that he can't live without her? And the ending alone had me flying into a rage. Seriously. I will be reading the next book, but I'm really, really irritated that it wasn't advertised as a series at the time that I bought and read it.
