Adventures of a Book Junkie

Illuminate was a bit of a slow start and I had a hard time getting interested in where it was all going. The book is over 500 pages and doesn't get really good until just about half way in. Lots of long descriptions, lots of set up, but also a strong girl with a fun inner monologue who's coming into her own and two swoony boys. In the end, all of the set up was worth it. I'll definitely be reading the next book.
